In my sales career, mentoring was always at the forefront. Each year, I’d take a less experienced rep under my wing and teach them the timeless strategies we mastered in the early 2000s: Territory Development, Cold Calling, Lead Generation, and Opportunity Growth. It frustrated me to see today’s sales managers abandoning these proven methods in favor of KPIs and non-revenue tasks. By October 2024, I’d had enough. I’d rather dig a ditch in the Texas sun than work for another narrow-minded sales manager. My friends and family refused to let me quit and pushed me to start my own company.

As I thought about the sacrifices business owners make—missing family events, risking their financial stability, and working tirelessly to build something meaningful—it became clear to me that the current business landscape was broken. With the rise of technology and risks that can take everything away with a single push of a button, I knew something had to change. I couldn't stand by while business owners were left vulnerable, and I couldn’t ignore the need for a better approach.

When I’m not working, you can find me cheering on my teams (the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and Texas Rangers), catching a movie (it’s practically a sport), volunteering with The Gideons International or church, and of course, I love cruising with my wife during our vacations.
